Story

It tells the story of three very different families who compete to buy the same 1920s Spanish-style mansion that they believe will solve all their problems. I was surprised to see the show rated so low, but it made more sense when I saw a lot of reviews explaining how it didn’t make it to the top of the first episode.

I really like the cast and everyone’s performances

The show is a fun mystery that may not be for everyone. I personally found it witty and entertaining, with a specific Liz Feldman tone that I like.

All the different characters have their own subplots that form a tangled web of chaos that gradually, though not completely, unravels

I wasn’t sold on Ray Romano at first because of my own biases (I couldn’t separate him from Everyone Loves Raymond for the life of me), but that faded away pretty quickly. By the last episode, I was pretty invested in the story, despite the fact that the main plot was resolved very early on.

I’m not upset about it though

I would love to see more of this show and I really hope they get a second season. "One Hundred Years of Solitude" is one of the biggest TV and streaming premieres of the month.
