Story
Charles, a retired man, gets a new lease on life when he answers an ad for a private detective and becomes the mole of an undercover investigation in a nursing home. Remake of El agente topo (2020) I’m not much of a watcher, but we cracked the whole season on the first night. It has the right mix of warm, funny, sad, with a deep storyline that keeps you going. Ted Danson is really great, but Stephanie Beatriz (Diaz from ’99) is great and her character is someone you want to spend everything on. .It’s a standard San Francisco show and that really helps my rating, but mostly it’s a comedy, albeit a very sad one at times, and we. When everyone gets a little older, it gives you hope for the future. I have a solid eight out of ten, one for all ages and who knows, another season.
